A De Forest Imports

According to the "History of Earliest Ann Arbor," Andrew De Forest owned a grocery, drug and agricultural business in Washtenaw County, Michigan in the mid 1800s.  It appears from old city directories, that De Forest shared a retail space with a local drug store, R.W. Ellis & Co. There are also citations in University of Michigan Board of Regents minutes where De Forest sold pails, wash basins, tubs and other items to the college in the 1850s.
